About Jeanette
I’ve always been creative for years. I started off under my brand of Mystic Healing as I used to Tarot Read & made jewellery, bag charms, bookmarks etc using healing stones, doing craft fairs and Jewellery parties. I then trained as an Aromatherapist and started to make products like soap, bath bombs, skin & hair care and gift baskets with lovely labels and ribbons. For years I did this alongside my day job then along came Beth who used to help me. We used to make a good mini production line but unfortunately life got really busy. I had to slow things down, eventually I had stopped it all together focusing on my family and my job.
Roll on quite a few years and now my creative side has resurfaced. I started to look for something to keep my hands and mind busy so I found crocheting and machine knitting. At an early stage I realised immediately that I didn’t want to make clothes, so I made ponchos because everyone loves a poncho right or is it just me?
I crocheted a beach bag which led onto a matching crossbody bag. I wanted to put lining in the crossbody bag and that’s where the sewing started.. Beth bought me a domestic sewing machine and I was quite happy just putting the lining in the bags. My Dad passed away, while sorting through his clothes I had a random thought why don’t I make bags out of his Jeans and Shirts?. I actually found this very comforting and my little machine was put through its paces with 3 folding tote bags, 2 structured tote bags and Memory Bears too but I was hooked, addicted!
I loved making the bags so I purchased some patterns and realised I needed to up my game. Which then led onto another machine, a semi industrial straight stitch machine and an embroidery machine..oopps. I completed a residential course at a Weekend Bag Making Retreat which focused on the techniques. I realised this was my dream, something I am very passionate about… I’d found my calling I want to make truly unique bags for unique individuals.
Every bag I make is made with love & care along with a blood sweat and tears and a few swear words.. No seriously to me a bag should not only fulfill your needs whether it’s pockets, zips with big fasteners (arthritis), Large bags, Small bags Crossbody or Totes but the fabric, style and colours should suit your outfits and personality hence all my bags are bespoke and customised to suit you.
So now I have a little workroom which I have to share with Beth and my 2 Flat Bed knitting machines, 3 circular knitting machines, 1 domestic sewing machine, 1 semi industrial straight stitch machine, an embroidery machine and an overlocker, not to mention my fabric, my collection of Scissors and rulers! It’s a good job that I am a very organised and tidy person!

About Beth
I’ve always had a love for drawing, I remember sitting with both Mum and my Grandma drawing and colouring. I used to love helping her bottle up the products, putting the labels on and presenting them in the gift baskets and making my own cards.
I took Art at school but felt restricted by their idea of creativity and this took the enjoyment out of it for me and actually stopped my creativity for a while. Then I found digital Art and started to create my own Artwork the way I always wanted to. I have designed Tattoos and logos and recently I purchased a Cricut machine and started using vinyl to customise items mugs, tumblers, notebooks, T-shirts and signage whether its Permanent Vinyl or Heat Transfer Vinyl, if I can customise it I’ll give it a go. Recently I have started to add my artwork to T-shirts and hoodies etc and I’ve started to expand into sublimation, so new and exciting things are coming!
