Made by Nette is an independent handmade business based in Kingston upon Hull, England, specialising in bespoke and handmade bags, purses and accessories.

2. Placing an Order
Orders can be placed through the Made by Nette website.
Products may be available as:
- Ready to Ship – already completed and ready for dispatch.
- Made to Order – created after your order has been placed.
- Bespoke Commissions – individually designed in consultation with you.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully received and you receive confirmation of your purchase.
3. Product Descriptions
Every effort is made to ensure product descriptions, photographs and measurements are accurate.
Please note that colours may appear differently depending on individual screen settings and devices.
Dimensions provided are approximate and slight variations are normal due to the handmade nature of each item.
4. Handmade Nature of My Products
Every Made by Nette item is individually handcrafted.
Small variations in stitching, leather grain, texture, colour, pattern placement or finishing are a natural part of the handmade process and should not be considered faults.
These variations are what make every handmade item unique and are part of its individual character.
5. Leather & Natural Materials
Many Made by Nette products are created using genuine leather, including reclaimed leather.
Leather is a natural material and may contain natural markings, wrinkles, scars or variations in grain and colour. Reclaimed leather may also show signs of its previous life, adding to its individuality and charm.
These characteristics are not defects but part of what makes each piece unique.
6. Bespoke & Made to Order Items
For Bespoke and Made to Order items, we will work together to agree your chosen design, colours, materials and other specifications before work begins.
Throughout the making process I may provide updates, photographs or videos so you can enjoy watching your item come to life.
Once work has begun, changes may not always be possible.
As each bespoke item is individually made to your specifications, cancellation and return rights may differ from Ready to Ship products in accordance with UK consumer legislation.
7. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
Made by Nette is not currently VAT registered, therefore VAT is not charged on purchases.
Payments are processed securely through Square, with Google Pay also available as a payment option where supported.
Payment details are processed securely and are not stored by Made by Nette.
8. Delivery
Ready to Ship items will normally be dispatched within the timescale shown on the product listing.
Made to Order and Bespoke items will be completed within the estimated timeframe discussed at the time of ordering.
Delivery is usually made using Royal Mail or Evri, with tracking provided wherever possible.
Collection may also be available by prior arrangement.
Although every effort is made to meet estimated delivery dates, delays outside my control (such as courier delays, severe weather or industrial action) may occasionally occur.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible.
Orders that have already entered production, involve personalised specifications or have required materials purchased specifically for your commission may not be eligible for a full refund.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
10. Faulty or Damaged Items
Every item is carefully inspected before it leaves my studio.
If your order arrives damaged or you believe there is a fault, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order, providing photographs of both the item and the packaging where appropriate.
I will always work with you to resolve genuine issues fairly and as quickly as possible.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement or refund.
11. Caring for Your Handmade Item
Your Made by Nette item has been created to be enjoyed for many years.
To help it stay looking its best:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water.
- Store your item in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Keep leather away from excessive heat and direct sunlight for extended periods.
- If appropriate, use a suitable leather care product designed for the type of leather used.
With a little care, your handmade item will develop character and age beautifully over time.
12. Intellectual Property
All photographs, logos, branding, product descriptions, website content and other original material published on the Made by Nette website remain the intellectual property of Made by Nette unless otherwise stated.
They may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.
Patterns used to create products remain the intellectual property of their respective designers where applicable, and credit is given where required.
13. Privacy
Your privacy is important to me.
Information about how your personal data is collected, used and protected can be found in the Made by Nette Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the business, the website or legal requirements.

15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with purchases made through Made by Nette shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Nothing contained within these Terms & Conditions is intended to affect or limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
