The Zena bag is a Crocheted Crossbody bag.  Its bespoke and handmade to order and is perfect for holidays.

The Zena Bag is made from T-shirt Yarn which makes it soft and silky and it comes in a lot of colours. Its Lining is in polycotton and has a small zipper pocket and a key clip to keep your valuables safe. The closure is a toggle button which will compliment your hardware and the strap is a chain.

Measurements approx. 22cm Diameter

The reason behind the name The Zena bag – I named this bag Zena as it is often associated with the Greek word "xenia," meaning "hospitable" or "welcoming". In Greek mythology, Zeus is the god of the sky, and Zena can also be interpreted as "belonging to Zeus" or "life of Zeus". Additionally, it's a variation of the name Zenobia and can be linked to the concept of "life" or "Zen-like". In Slavic languages, particularly Russian, Zena (or Žena) can mean "woman" or "wife" and in some contexts, it may be associated with beauty or adornment. Also a lovely lady called Zena contacted me and asked me to make her a bag and together we came up with this pattern for her.
