This bag is made using Faux Leather for the outer in Charcoal and Silver and with water resistant canvas in Red for the lining.  The strap is two toned in Charcoal and Silver and the hardware is Silver.

Timescales

Turnaround for bespoke bags varies but its average is 3 weeks. Before we start to make your Bag we will send you images of the fabric choices that you have made ready for approval. Once you have approved these we will make a start on your item and we will keep you up to date via WhatApp or Email.

The Story Behind the Name

The Gaia Bag

In Greek mythology, Gaia is the primordial goddess of the Earth, often referred to as the Mother Goddess and the personification of our planet. Revered as the ancestral mother of all life, she represents strength, nature, nurturing and creation.

Those qualities made Gaia the perfect inspiration for this design. Like its namesake, The Gaia Bag is beautifully dependable, thoughtfully crafted and designed to accompany you through everyday life with both style and purpose.

As a little personal note, this bag also happens to be my mum’s favourite, which makes it even more special to me.

Every Made by Nette design is given a name with meaning, because every handmade piece deserves a story of its own.
