Personalisation

Your Adiona begins with your ideas.

When ordering, you can choose the colours and overall style you’d like for your bag, and I’ll bring those choices together into a finished design.

Choosing the right fabric

For a beach and travel bag, water-resistant canvas is the recommended choice. It offers the best combination of durability and water resistance for the intended use of the bag.

Cotton can also be used if you’d prefer a particular colour or design that isn’t available in water-resistant canvas. In this case, the finished bag can be treated with a waterproofing spray to provide additional protection.

Please note that waterproofing spray will need to be reapplied from time to time as the protection wears down with use and washing.

Specific fabrics and finishes are subject to availability, but I’ll always help you choose an option that suits how you intend to use your Adiona.

Made to Order, not completely bespoke

The Made-to-Order Adiona allows you to personalise the look of the bag while keeping the original Adiona design and construction.

If you’d like to make substantial changes to the design, use leather or your own clothing or treasured textiles, or have an idea that falls outside the standard Adiona options, that’s where my Bespoke Commission service comes in.

Made to Order

Your Adiona will be made especially for you once your order has been placed and your choices have been confirmed.

My usual turnaround is around three weeks, although this can vary slightly depending on current orders, material availability and the time of year.

I’ll always aim to have your Adiona on its way to you as soon as possible.

The Story Behind the Name

The Adiona Foldable Beach & Travel Bag takes its name from Adiona, a Roman goddess associated with safe journeys and returning home.

It felt like the perfect name for a bag designed to accompany you on adventures — whether that’s a day at the beach, a holiday, a weekend away or simply a day out.

And when the journey is over, Adiona folds neatly back into her pouch, ready to be stored until the next adventure.

Handmade Disclaimer

Every Made by Nette bag is lovingly handmade, so no two will ever be exactly alike.

Pattern placement, fabric details and finishing touches may vary slightly from photographs or from one Adiona to another. These little differences are part of what makes a handmade bag special and give your Adiona its own individual character.

Water resistance will vary depending on the fabric chosen. Water-resistant canvas is recommended for the best performance. Cotton versions can be treated with waterproofing spray, but this protection will need to be reapplied periodically.
