Handmade to order in the Made by Nette studio, your Freyja is created around your choice of materials, colours and finishes. Mix and match available fabrics to create a combination that’s uniquely yours.

22cm wide × 26.5cm high × 10cm deep

These are the dimensions of the basic Freyja pattern. As each bag is individually handmade, measurements may vary very slightly.

Personalisation – Make It Yours

Your Freyja is made especially for you, with a choice of materials and finishes to create a combination that’s uniquely yours.

Main Outer Fabric
Used for the upper section of your bag. Choose a material and colour that sets the tone for your Freyja.

Accent Fabric
Used for the base, lower section and handles. Choose a coordinating material for a classic look or a contrasting colour or pattern to make your bag stand out. Leather can also be selected for suitable accent pieces.

Lining Fabric
Used for the main lining inside your bag, bringing your chosen materials together for a coordinated finish.

Pocket Theme Fabric
A little splash of personality! This fabric adds a pop of colour or pattern to the interior zipped pocket.

Hardware
Choose your preferred hardware finish for the zipper pulls, rivets and bag feet. These finishing details help complete your chosen design.

Some materials may incur an additional charge, which will be displayed when you make your selections. All combinations are subject to stock availability and suitability for the Freyja design. If you’re unsure which materials will work together, I’m happy to help.

Made to Order, Not Completely Bespoke

Made to Order allows you to personalise the look of your Freyja by choosing your materials, colours and finishes while keeping the original design and construction.

If you’d like to make substantial changes to the design, incorporate your own clothing or treasured textiles, or bring a different idea to life, my Bespoke Commission service offers the opportunity to discuss something more individual.

Made to Order

Your Freyja will be made especially for you once your order has been placed and your choices have been confirmed.

My usual turnaround is around three weeks, although this can vary depending on current orders, material availability and the time of year.

I’ll always aim to have your Freyja on its way to you as soon as possible.

The Story Behind the Name

I named this bag Freyja after the Norse goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, gold and magic.

Freyja felt like the perfect name for a bag that combines practicality with a little bit of personality — and it’s also one of my favourite bags to make.

Pattern Credit

The Freyja is made using the Drinks at Tiffany’s pattern by Butter Bags.

Pattern used with permission in accordance with the designer’s terms.

Handmade Disclaimer

Every Made by Nette bag is lovingly handmade, so no two will ever be exactly alike.

Pattern placement, fabric details and finishing touches may vary slightly from the photographs or from one Freyja to another. These little differences are part of what makes a handmade bag special and give your Freyja its own individual character.

Specific fabrics and finishes are subject to availability, but I’ll always aim to create a combination that reflects your choices and the Made by Nette style.

If, for any reason, Made by Nette is unable to fulfil your order, your payment will be refunded.
